Where To Start

“Where to start.” This was my thought over and over for how to write this-my first ever-blog post. So many ideas went through my brain. Stress, fear, and even some confusion. I know I wanted to start a blog as a part of the presentation of my business, Integrity Financial Coaching (IFC), but for days, I just couldn’t figure out how to begin. Then, I figured out my problem … I just wasn’t keeping it as simple as possible.

I am sure this is how so many people feel about their finances. Because money affects almost every aspect of our lives, we feel that one bad decision can bring on financial ruin. This is true. However, adhering to simple money management principles can eliminate the stress, fear, and confusion that we face every day when it comes to making financial decisions. Have you ever heard of K.I.S.S.? Keep It Simple Silly. This is helpful regardless of where you are in your financial journey.

Since this was my first blog, I was stressed because I believed it needed to be some kind of literary masterpiece and writing is not my strong suit. I feared it wouldn’t be read, so why am I so concerned with the quality of the content? And, I was confused because I just didn’t know how to start. These thoughts are similar to the everyday decisions people make regarding money.

Every week I hope to post regarding these simple principles. I also look forward to sharing information, offering opinions on financial headlines, and inspiring everyone to be the Treasurer of their finances. It’s your income and you work hard for it. If you take care of your money early, later it will take care of you.

This is why I founded IFC. To help take the stress out of finances and help people be in charge of their money. I don’t just want to teach, coach, and advise people, I want to work with them and besides them to help take the stress, fear, and confusion out of finances.

I look forward to sharing these principles and other topics with you as I move forward.

Thank you for reading. Let’s get started.
